Me! I'm a bigger fan of The Human League, but I picked up a Heaven 17 compilation a few months ago and haven't been able to put it away!

I LOVE The Human League. I learned about Heaven 17 a couple of months ago in this huge book about New Wave which was published in early 1983. I also love the whole look and sound of the New Romantic era biggrin

Heaven 17 got their name from the Stanley Kubrick film "A Clockwork Orange". Malcolm McDowell picks up two girls in a record store and he looks at an album by the then-fictional band Heaven 17.

...

My favorite Heaven 17 tune is their collaboration with Jimmy Ruffin, on "Foolish Thing To Do"...
