Buzz up!Call off the bump watch: Janet Jackson, 42, is not pregnant.

Reports picked up in the New York Daily News and on PerezHilton.com are not true, Jackson's boyfriend, Jermaine Dupri, 36, tells Usmagazine.com exclusively.

"Does Perez know that lying destroys the credibility of a blogger?" Dupri quipped to Us on Sunday.

Rumors began to swirl after Jackson canceled a string of tour dates in October due to a mystery illness.

Still, that doesn't mean Jackson and Dupri aren't excited about starting a family in the future.

“I’d love to have children,” the singer has told Us. “It’s just up to Jermaine, what he wants to do.”

Jackson also spoke about motherhood in an interview with Sister 2 Sister magazine.

"Everyone tells me that there will never be a good time, that I will always be busy, but I just think when the stars are aligned it will happen," she revealed.

Janet dumb. Why's it up to him??? You got money, you're the one carrying the baby, and without time on your side. So why's it up to him??? Shit, it ain't like you got something betta to do. I think she's preggers and this is all deflection, as if anyone cares that much.

But I would like to point out that that it's not fair to speculate whether this was a planned pregnancy. My own sister, who by all accounts spent almost 12 years quite happily with her boyfriend and eventual husband in DINK mode (double income no kids), woke up flabbergasted one day to find out that either the condom broke or the pill failed- at 40 she was at the doctor's completely cross-eyed like "Excuse me, you said I'm WHAT.." We don't know if, whether, or how any woman waits for anything with regards to conception.

I'm a little perplexed as to why it's up to Jermaine too. By the time he's ready she might be closed for business. So I guess if he says he doesn't want rugrats they're not having any. And if she's waiting for the stars to align she can forget about it.
