The Jets
I don't even know who Five Star is Under certain circumstances, urgent circumstances, desperate circumstances, profanity provides a relief denied even to prayer.

Definitely FIVE STAR
The lead singer of Five Star kicks ass. The jets aren't bad but they didn't seem to have a long term plan or vision and kept changing genres and were seldom heard from after the 90's hit. Five Star kept evolving and was one of the first R&B group to sucessfully go Independent in the 90's and seems to record whenever enough of them get together. When I see them on You Tube in performances since 2001 they honestly seem to be enjoying themselves and seem to love the fans. [ZUNECARD]MikeChristopher[/ZUNECARD]

Five Star
I haven't really listened to The Jets "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

I'll have to go with the Jets.
Five Star were great, but they only did one song that I really, really, really like ("Let Me Be The One").Their other singles are catchy and fun but for some reason,I didn't feel compelled to go out and buy them. On the other hand,I have the first two Jets albums and their songs are great.I love a handful of their songs...."Curiosity","Private Number","Crush On You","You Got It All","Rocket 2 U","Make It Real","Anytime","Sendin All My Love","Private Number","Cross My Broken Heart",etc.

Weren't the Jets from Tonga? I liked this slow jam that they did, but can't think of the name. I like 5 Stars's "All Fall Down".

only heard of one song of the jets. But i just youtubed them and so far their music sounds so 80s, not just 80s, BUT SOOO 80s. Five star's music isn't as predated as the jets. System addict and all fall down are things everyone can like even 2008.
