Of course not.

Let's wait for "beyonce's band members are all untalented sluts!" thread, shouldn't be long.

Um, ok, whatever. I went from asking whether the band was playing, because so many on SNL don't, regardless of gender, to being someone who's going to call them sluts.

I like her, I like the all-woman band thing. Lighten up people.

Actually, even already with DC's last tour their back-up band were all women.
I recognised the guitarist ( positioned on the right with the afro ) from an outdoor live-performance broadcasted on the UK-network some years ago.
I believe Bouncy's band has 2 female drummers and i thought to see them both performing in the SNL-clips.

To me it sounds clear that they definitely played live, just from my own experience of visiting shows in the past and having witnessed both live and tape-recording as back-up.
The acoustic dynamic of sound just breathes in the room, a very different sound than when you just put on a tape.
Check for instance the drumbreaks during the breakdown of "Single Ladies".
It has that spontaneous improvised feel which can be created at the spur of the moment.

Youtube seems to be experiencing these hiccups frequently.
I don't if the following will work on your pc but re-opening this thread and doubleclick on the posted Youtube-frame might get you there.
A new Youtube-windowframe will pop-up on your screen with the clip running.
At least it works like that on my pc.

Justin Timberlake is fucking horrible, though.

But that's what I deserve for not making plans tonight. mad

i thought just the opposite.

beyonces mom is a shitty ass designer too. those ensembles were shittay.

the band was great, but beyonce was just boring. yawn

lol lol lol

Well i don't care for beyonce like that anymore. but i will say she was pretty good on snl. The costumes were UGLY as USUAL, beyonce just makes herself less attractive when she wears that crazy stuff.

anyways it was funny seeing those guys dance.

On a related note, I got an advanced copy of the CD a few days ago. I am sorry to report that it is not great. The "Fierce" side is so uneven in terms of material it is really hard to listen to. The other disk, is just typical Beyonce...nothing special. The track that was written by Face, is okay. But, the rest is just, BLAH!!

I'm not surprised. I'm not buying it. (I have all her other albums -- including unopened, preserved collector's editions).

But she's not growing. I'm done with her. "You decided to dip. Now you wanna trip cuz another brother noticed me?" "I'm up on him. He up on me." ARe these lyrics? Seriously. That is laughable.

She better not land at #1 because she will continue to put this same shit out. The last album was sketchy and this is worse. She wants to be an icon, but I agree with a review I read that said she needs an iconic, classic album -- and this isn't it.

P.S. I'd rather listen to Rihanna. I love, lvoe, love, her Rehab collabo with Justin T.
