In the 60s, she would take all the abuse and shut up, in the 70s she knew she was getting ass whooped either way so she started to toughen up. I think those photos of her sporting the natural hair were taken AFTER she left Ike or was finally divorced from him. Seems so anyway, like 1977, '78, or '79. | |
