Oh OK, why he always gotta be runner-up, lol... he's always #2 in everything. I noticed that! falloff

Anyway, yeah I think a song would be nice too but we can take a breather that Michael probably won't even put Akon, T-Pain or any of those slugs on the new album IF it ever comes out.

Yeah, it's a pattern of fail Tim. He WAS the Lead Singer of the J5 then he became #2. lol Since then it's on. Second most sucessful brother. lol

I'd be glad if they dont show up on the album. Mike always says someone is great, but behind their back he's like WTF is this shit?? I think your topic title isnt too far off from his REAL thoughts. lol

Yeah he was also the third singer to marry a Gordy after Harvey Fuqua and Marvin Gaye. evillol

I can understand the jermaine jackson greasy jokes and the jermajesty jokes but
i am surprised at the some of the other abuse he's taking. lol
He's done a few questionable things but the guy has been a fairly good
artist in his own right. His time has just passed.
I like michael and what he's accomplished but it's time this dude stop acting
like he comes from another planet. I mean him seperating himself from family
seems very strange to me in light of the family being their to support his
ass when a lot of people wanted to see him go to jail. When his career was going great, he shunned folks that have been his biggest supporter from the beginning. Then when his sales started to drop and the molestation charges started then he goes running to Al sharpton and jesse jackson. I don't expect the dude to plan 50 city tours with his brother or himself for that matter anymore but damn dude stop acting like you don't have any ties with your brothers and sisters.

I agree, while Jermaine may be a greasy ass knicka, every time Mike is in trouble on the news, Jermaine is the first one to say his baby bro is innocent. Jermaine is always on CNN or Larry King taking up for Mike ...

I agree with the previous comments. What exactly is it that Jermaine did to receive such negative comments? He is always steadfast in his defense for Michael, the brother that tries his hardest to be distant from his family until he truly needs them.

Oh I can talk for days about Jermaine's talent awesome Bass player musican and singer and I have his solo records. And he DID defend Michael all the time. As for the touring or the album I gotta wonder though. I've been hearing that since 1998 and everytime he says Michael is involved and Michael denies involment you gotta wonder is he saying this to boast himself or did Michael agree and is he changing his mind or what? There is some miscommunication and after ten years of hearing touring and album, it kinda gets like here comes Jermaine again, I''d love to see it happen myself but after six or seven times from the top of my head where he said it is like okay...To be honest with you if Mike said he was gonna do it and backs out constantly I''d be like fuck him.

LOS ANGELES, Oct 30, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Michael Jackson's spokesperson, Dr. Tohme, in response to recent rumors regarding Michael's participation in a Jackson 5 reunion, has issued the following statement from Michael Jackson:

"My brothers and sisters have my full love and support, and we've certainly shared many great experiences, but at this time I have no plans to record or tour with them. I am now in the studio developing new and exciting projects that I look forward to sharing with my fans in concert soon."SOURCE: Scoop Marketing

This thread is hilarious. lol

Anyways, I agree that while Jermaine's time has passed etc etc, he is the first to come out and defend Mike, and that's a great thing. Janet just refuses to speak about Michael at all anymore.

Doesn't matter, I am just excited that Michael's thinking about getting back out there. biggrin

Well, the 1998 reunion they were gonna do, Michael was very much involved, but legal issues with Sony AND the fact they weren't organized made that one fall through. The album was called "Humanity"

Thats because the ingnorance of some fans here and fans on MJ boards is really mindblowing, MJ said NOT at THIS TIME which implies that Maybe they will record and tour in the future, what I don't get is that hatred for jermaine when the man never said anything negative, he has always been supportive to MJ and its even more shocking when they say that jermaine is desperate for money , how ridiculous, jermaine has Non-musical projects outside the united states with billionare arabs, he is not desperate for Money.

When his ex-wife-that-he-still-lives-with took him to court recently, he said outright that he had no money to pay basic child support. So he's either broke, or a man who lies to get out of paying for his own kids.

mj said in 1988 that the bad tour would be his final tour of north america, and apparently he meant it. he had two tours after that and never set foot on the u.s. mainland; he did do a stop in hawaii on the history tour.

so why is he 'lazy' or 'unsupportive' for not wanting to tour with or without his brothers? the man has been working since he was 6, and by all accounts was hard working (q has said he never saw someone work so hard). he has been supporting his family since he was six, and maybe mj's just had enuf, esp. given the troubles he's had in recent years. he has three kids to raise by himself. maybe he's just not into the whole thing anymore? in addition, we all know jermaine has been no angel when it comes to mj, so regardless of whether he denounced the allegations against his brother, does mj owes it to jermaine to tour?

btw, i don't think that's a real quote from him or his spokesperson. sounds completely made up.

He said that the Bad tour was going to be his last tour period, but then he did the Dangerous tour. He was scheduled to bring the Dangerous tour to the states in late 93/mid 94 but the 1993 allegations scrapped that

The quote is legit... and not sure why it would sound like it was made up- Michael said essentially the same thing in October last year (that he was looking forward to sharing exciting and surprising news from his other efforts, soon). I don't understand the skepticism behind it. Michael's been quick to say in the past if someone is representing him falsely, if it were the case.

Anyways, Michael said Bad was his last tour- he also said that HIStory was probably his last studio album, back in 1997.

Yeah I know lol We already had that one quote this time last year that said "soon" too. I am thinking "soon" means end of next year, at the earliest.

I think it has something to do with how it's gonna be percieved. The Victory tour fiasco and the blame was put on Michael. The 1989 South Korea situation where Joe, Katherine, and Jermaine neogotiated a Jacksons tour in that country and told them that Michael agreed and was ready to do it.....only that Michael didn't know anything about it. And who got sued for breach of contract? Michael

The Word To The Badd incident? even after Jermaine was living in Hayvenhurst which Michael owns and pays all the bills for, with his babymomma and 2 kids

Mike's always took care of his family, especially Jermaine. He seems to still be in contact with the nieces and nephews and Tito and Randy(supposedly)

from what it seems, Jermaine is just kinda shady confused

I wouldn't trust either Jermaine or Joe with a ten-foot pole. neutral Then again dealing with any of the Jacksons is weird in itself least to me.
