SYNTH POP! .
Earlier this year I made a comp of synth pop songs that got lots of spins in goth clubs a few years back. I finally got around to posting them on 8tracks and thought others would like to hear what I was dancing to back in the late 90s/early 00s. Tracks: 1. Blue Moon (12" Mix) - De/Vision 2. Into My Arms (Derek Von Krogh Remix) - Deine Lakaien 3. Deutschmaschine (Club Mix) - And One 4. Another World (Extended Remix) - Beborn Beton 5. Once In A Lifetime (Extended) - Wolfsheim 6. On The Other Side (1999-Version) - Silke Bischoff 7. Who Am I? (Apoptygma Remix) - Sabotage Qu'est-ce Que C'est? 8. It Scares Me (Mesh Remix) - Mesh 9. Suicide Commando (Extended Clubmix) - Echo-Park 10. Kathy's Song (Beborn Beton Remix) - Apoptygma Berzerk 11. Dead Stars (Club Version) - Covenant 12. Standing (Motion) - VNV Nation LISTEN: http://8tracks.com/sexton...ts-remixed . [Edited 8/29/18 12:06pm]

Always enjoy a good comp. Cool! It's dark, but also very dancey. Mostly German bands I believe.

Flipping through some magazines and listening to your mix now. The track "Suicide Commando" is currently playing. I'm feeling this.

Well...
I should probably comment on this, but I can't come up with anything poignant to say.

well, I watched one. It at least some kind of progression for the entire japanese lite goth / synth -thing. And by describing it as "progression" I mean of course "retro-gression". I hear some echoes of Bowie there, which is rather positive.
