A few Hall and Oates gems. Everyone knows and loves the hits. But I'd like to highlight a few album tracks.
At Tension Go Solo Someone Like You (Darryl solo.) Everything Your Heart Desires [Edited 10/20/08 23:23pm] "The first time I saw the cover of Dirty Mind in the early 80s I thought, 'Is this some drag queen ripping on Freddie Prinze?'" - Some guy on The Gear Page

My favorite Hall & Oats song of all time is, "Say it isn't so". Love it!! "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Does anyone have their 1974 album 'Abandoned Luncheonette'? I think this is the album that contains "She's Gone".I've always been curious about that one.

Classic Hall and Oates on that one, that is also one of their favorite records too, this was a more acoustic H&O than the 80's pop "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

Their Todd Rundgren Produced "War Babies" album is great guitar by Todd on it.
Also Private Eyes is one of the =best albums of the 1980's. Also love Big Bam Boom

I've been meaning to get more into them. But got sidetracked by my recent Breathe and Eurogliders headtrips. Will get into them more eventually.

Thanks to this cover when I was a kid, it took me a minute to realize that Hall and Oates were two guys.
Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Yeah, that album cover was a little controversial back then. Some silly people assumed that they were a gay couple.

Indeed it is.I think their strongest, most consistent 80s album is the follow-up,'H2O' which is an 80s pop masterpiece.
