on another thread, people were talking about showing our ages. well, here i go: i remember this song, too. in fact, i recently downloaded it from i tunes. my cousin swore up and down that it was the j5 - 21 cen. were definitely biting the mj/jermaine combo! - but i knew it wasn't them 'cause we had the moving violation album that was out at the time and this song wasn't on it. (as an aside, i had wanted the mj solo album that was out, too, but my mother refused to buy it b/c she said 'why pay for one, when you can get all five?' - why yes, my mother was a trip and a half, thanks for asking...!) later that fall when 'child' came out, my mother got me and my brother the *45* (yikes!) and she taped us singing it and smokey's 'quiet storm' on her tape recorder. we eventually lost that cassette; man, i would give anything to hear it now!

Don't you feel blessed that you were around during that amazing era? I feel proud that I was a 70s child The music was amazing back then!
