Great tracks. Gotta love The Whispers. My dad was totally into music like this so that's all I heard around the house, and the funk band he was in had this vibe. (kool and the gang earth wind and fire, stevie wonder a lot too) I think Will Smith actually amde decent use of the sample for "And The Beat Goes On". [Edited 10/7/08 7:05am] | |

The Whispers were on a roll in the 80s.Everytime you turned around,these guys had yet another hot jam on the radio.
"In The Raw" is one of their funkiest

I saw these guys in concert years ago. I'm a fan of their music especially their "quiet storm" stuff. They got moves on the dancefloor, I ain't even mad at them! | |
