When the woman at the hospital asked me if my son's father was white, I guess I should have told her no, he's mixed race. Why are you confusing genetics with social constructs of race? We are saying MJ and Prince (like most AAs) are not 100% genetically Sub Saharan African. That's why phenotypes in the Black community look different, and children of AA's, no matter the background of the other parent, can look numerous ways. But, you know this already. No one is trying to say MJ and Prince are not Black. I don't think those MJs are biological s kids btw. | |

By the way black people just don't exist in Africa, they're in Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rican, Cuban, even Asians are connected to Africa. Not every black person's ancestors come from west Africa or sub-Saharan Africa or South Africa or North Africa... You don't have to be connected to Kenya to be black...
