Its a pretty good album, like i said in my review of PCD, its scary that i like more NKOTB songs this year than certain other veterans put together. Great cuts like "Click Click Click" and "Grown Man" (with PCD are the standouts

I've been seriously contemplating getting this, but I'd have a hard time buying it without embarassing my wee self. It's one thing for me to pick up a Backstreet Boys disc without feeling the redface factor kick in because I've loved those overgrown Boys for years.

But New Kids? My favourite New Kids related thing wasn't even one of their songs. It's always been "New Kid on the Block" by Barenaked Ladies. lol

I listened to it and I think the songs are totally awful. The songs lack of charakter.

Why are they back to calling themselves New Kids… when they were last NKOTB which seemed more fitting since they’re hardly kids anymore and they’ve been on the block for awhile now.

The version of "Lights Camera Action" with PCD is on their "doll domination" limited disc and its a great version

This is a decent pop album. Don't sleep on it!

And, for the record, I didn't like NKOTB back in the day, either. smile

Why not? The Beach Boys were still "Boys" after forever and a day.

How I long for the days when Eminem just didn't give a fuck and was the rawest motherfucker around. Judging from the last album he released, that guy is long gone.

All of NE are on it except Mike. Ronnie sings the "Full Service" hook and Ricky takes one of the verses and is singing at the very end behind everybody.

don't worry people, it won't be embarrasing to pick this album up,
after all, its got the "hip" artists of the moment in it, like Akon, Neyo, Pussycat Dolls etc

the new album is probably one of the best of the year by a country mile.

Its quite Obvious, Donnie is the one who made sure they got the best tracks and utilised the best options available.

The best thing that Donnie did is discover that Nasri guy who wrote "Click Click". The same Nasri guy has also written lots of other songs for many artists, a lot of his songs are up on youtube, I think even Akon is using Nasri now as is many other people, as that guy seems to have a great knack for finding great melodies.

But yeah, overall, the album has got some great tracks, great club anthems such as "single", "Twisted", "Sexify my love" and lots of others.

Seriously though, the album is rather addictive and has lots of catchy songs on it, and actually features a decent Timbaland produced track (Twisted) that doesn't get on your nerves!

Sure, its shameful to admit, but the nkotb album is actually quite good, especially compared to most of the other crap out there.

Its a fun record, catchy hooks and overall good.

im not that shocked to be honest.

their last album in 1994 "face the music" was a great album, plenty of new jack swing stuff on it. it was a big big change from their previous stuff from the 80s, and even though it flopped, it was a great record.

check it out on youtube for some of the tracks, they even did a few on Arsenio hall's show during the final season.

check them out here for mid 90's haircuts and some teddy riley produced cuts, lol!
