Hard on my love is the kind of funk/rock that Van Hunt would kill to do.

I'm listening to it right now and it's alright. I like the title track a lot.

Are you a new Thicke fan? robin's been channeling Marvin and Curtis from day one. Listen to Cherry Blue Skies on the first album and Teach U A Lesson on the second.

a huge fan since day one. his debut is outta this universe, stunning project from top to buttom, and very creative, and you can guess his inspirations listening to it nod

with his sophomore album though, his sound started to feel more copied than inspired, and with the new one it sounds totally copied.

but i'll still support and go to see him live any chance i get though coz i know the guy is a real artist nod

Nothing compares to the first album for me. I loved a lot of the stuff from first listen. But I dig the second a lot and will be buying this one, too.

So far, I'm three songs in and I'm digging it. cool

This album is even better than 'Evolution'!

"Dreamworld" is great....and so is the title track.

it actually just hit the streets here in NYC (real copies), saw it about an hour ago, i didnt pick it up mainly because i have been bombarded with new cds this past week from PCD and Queen and others, plus a rep at the label said he was getting some free ones Thursday or Friday, i wasnt to cool on his last cd so i will wait for the promo, im hoping this cd is all fast, i cant take his slow falsetteo cuts.

Alright, I've been anxious since 'Magic' came out.

Magic, Sidestep, and Something Else are really nice upbeat tracks. I'd say his best upbeat songs since Brand New Jones and When I Get You Alone. Mind you, I wasn't a fan of anything upbeat on 'The Evolution of...'

'You're My Baby' is like an improved version of 'Would That Make You Love Me' from 'The Evolution of....' Very nice song.

'Tie My Hands' is a likely single, given Lil Wayne's popularity. I don't really care for the Robin and rapper mixes, but this one is a bit more enjoyable than the others (not saying much).

'Cry No More' is the most solid ballad on the album.

'The Sweetest Love' is the cheesiest ballad of 2008, but even cheese works sometimes. For real though, he channeled David Silver a little on that one.

Shadow of Doubt and Hard On My Love have a cool 70's rock vibe to them.

Overall a solid album. I can't see any of these songs taking off like 'Lost Without You' did. Pretty good stuff, though.
