a-Ha return to sutdio to complete new record, coldplay give them props and a joint venture on stage a-Ha are back in the studio once again, completing their 10th album, which is now set for an early 09 release. The band is fresh off solo tours and albums and ready to continue the record, and recently Magne Furuholmen joined Coldplay on stage for their version of "hunting high and low", Chris Martin called Magne the best keyboardist and a-Ha the best band and influence on them. Currently Magne and Coldplay member guy berryman, have joined together for some instrumental tracks for a series called "amazon" which has debuted overseas this past month. Yeah they did work in the studio earlier in the year and then went on with solo projects and tours, the rumour was a more keyboard pop record, also this is the longest time between records, the last in November 2005, since they parted ways during 1994-1998, and when they resumed, the reward was "Minor Earth Major Sky" so they have always been great after a rest of sorts "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

It would be interesting, but like they said they still are three guys in their mid to later 40's, Morten is turning 49, so its going to be something i think along the lines of Mags solo work, he has been the "ace in the hole" for this group the last 10 years "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F
