The volume on my vinyl copy for this song is louder than the rest of the songs on the album. I always have to turn it down a little when I play it.

u r such a meangay... The correct title would be 'beotch', thank you. And indeed. I am. If I had a cam I would take a pic of me and my Japanese import MJG's cd's, all cinister-like.

I was so glad with a good version of In My House back in the day. I have had this album for 15 years, I think. Most soul/funk music was not available on cd in the US or Europe, but in Japan they re-issued most my faves.
I even still have my four Graham Central Station cd's, even though I am turned off by present day Larry, old skool Larry is still SO amazing. Tis My Kind Of Music.

Back in'85,Motown should have released this song as the second single from their album and promoted the hell out of it.I think it would have been a huge hit.

That white girl was hott! That was the baddest B out of all of em. They play this song on Quiet Storm now and again on KMOJ in Minneapolis. [Edited 9/26/08 8:48am] Straight Jacket Funk Affair

[Edited 9/26/08 8:48am] Maxi looked good when the first MJG album was released. But damn, she cannot sing. The song "Leather Queen" with her singing lead hurts my ears.

It's a crime that Shadow Lover, On The Inside, and Musical Love weren't released as singles.

I think "Musical Love" was the b-side to "All Night Long".

I really wished they would have continued but Rick just couldnt get his head together and as the girls said "scared them away".
