How the hell is Little Wayne still in the top ten. 3 hip-hop albums better than the Carter III released a few weeks ago are already about to be out the top ten (The Game's LAX is already below C3) PRINCE: Always and Forever
MICHAEL JACKSON: Always and Forever ----- Live Your Life How U Wanna Live It

the new metallica is #1, even though virtually every review has panned it?
darius rucker has a top 5 debut? it's like people are consciously buying crap for the enjoyment of buying crap.

Poor Lindsey Buckingham. Not even a Top 50 debut?

well, ya know, if one person out of a million thinks an album is a great piece of music, then the album wasn't a complete waste of time. or something like that.

Im not shocked though i must say, Lindsey is someone that does almost no promo for his albums, i mean NO PROMO at all. "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

Typical Anx only reading reviews by the snob critics. Because as you can see, the fact is the Metallica album is actually getting GOOD reviews: http://www.metacritic.com...thmagnetic The only really bad review there is by snobby Pitchfork.

Most of the reviews I saw were great for the band. Some saying the band went back to their 1980s thrash roots on the album.

Where exactly did Darius get a bad rep from . Was it that every over exposed Hootie and the Blowfish song sounded the same? Was it the burger king commercials?
Dude has a good voice . | |

Dude has a good voice . I like Darius. I guess it was cool in the '90s to hate anything affiliated with Hootie or Dave Matthews or whatever, but I liked them both. It was decent music and they had harmonies. I liked Dave Matthews Band, too. It was just good music, I was not trippin off of "okay, if you listen to this you play Golf, wear cargo pants and vote Republican." I didn't know that as a kid listening to it. lol But I still like "Ants Marching," "Satellite." SO fuck yall.

Dude has a good voice . he and dave matthews and eddie vedder all sound the same. it's like some kind of bullfrog meets cher-with-a-sex-change sound. i guess some people really enjoy that kind of singing, and to those who do, god bless you. to me, hootie is dad rock. it's something you play at barbecues. it's music to compliment lawn darts. which, you know, is fine, i guess

I really like the new Metallica. The more I listen to it...the more I like it (just like the Prince albums of the 80's). The most aggressive and fast album they have done since "....and justice for all". In fact it sounds like it belongs between "....and justice for all" and "the black album". "Always blessings, never losses......"

I was really impressed with what I heard of the new Metallica album. They didn't just hint at their old stuff, they really seemed to capture the essence of the classic years, with a few new tricks thrown in. My Legacy

I bet that if Metallica were to gang up on Darius Rucker,
even though he wouldn't really stand a chance, he would probably take at least one of 'em down wit' him.
