Here is another great song from the Concept "Comeback" album Leon is one of the most underrated producers EVER!!!

The Sylvers are like a bootleg Jacksons, granted they were way before my time, but that is the impression this young 'un got from her elders who were around them. And DeBarge came along them and OWNED them.

As an "oldhead", I always found the Sylvers' chords and harmonies more interesting than those of Both of the Jacksons and DeBarge---Just my opinion. I'm not referring to the bubblegum hits like "Hotline" and "Boogie Fever"...I mean stuff like below...

"Fool's Paradise" and "Wish I Could Talk to You" alone made them a great family group. I think their earlier stuff was more adult than the stuff they would eventually be famous for.

I know a lot of people complained about their '84 album, "Bizarre" and deservedly so for the most part, but I must admit, I did like these 3 tunes-- even though the mid 80's pop-synth beat thing was quite a departure from their usual sound....funny, the last tune, Let My Love Shine In was almost Beatle-esque...something different from Leon....

For me, nothing really compares to Sylvers I & II, but that's because I'm not completely ready to move on from those.
