who put out crap in 2008?

WHO PUT OUT CRAP IN 2008?

Madonna, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey.

Cyndi Lauper's crap was the hardest to forgive. Madonna put out crap because she's past it and doesn't give a fuck anymore (she didn't even write the melodies). Mariah has been shit for years. So has Janet. On the other hand, Cyndi has actually written some brilliant songs in recent years, but that was pushed aside so her financiers (Sony) could pander to the "dance" audience. Unforgivable.

I have to agree. With the exception of a couple of tracks the whole project sucked ass. And I'm a Cyndi Lauper fan!

If you are talking about any album...I would say Lil' Wayne. That crap is HORRIBLE.

As for the ones you mentioned, I would say Madonna's album is crap. Her last 2 have been just horrible to me.

I agree with that one. I can't stand anything on this cd. It is the worst thing he's ever done....worse than anything on his debut cd (when he was 12 (or whatever age he was)).

he was 12?? OMG, who did discover that boring guy?? who's to blame for him? 2004 - when everything he released went #1 - was a musical nightmare!!

Do people really not like "Hard Candy" or are these just typical Madonna haters. I didn't think it was great but it improved upon "Confessions" (only slightly....that wasn't terrible either). And talking about melodies, at least someone wrote them this time! It's been a while since Madonna or any one of her albums had good melodies throughout.

Are you kidding? I thought "Confessions" was a MUCH stronger album than "Hard Candy"! It's one of my fave Madonna albums ever. With the exception of "Miles Away", I think most of the songs on "Hard Candy" are completely forgettable though. I was really into the album when I first bought it, but that only lasted like a week. I usually forget that it's even apart of my album collection now.

I can't remember who "discovered" him. I know his first major single was "Call Me A Mack" and was featured on the Poetic Justice Soundtrack. He then released his debut cd on LaFace records (which is self-titled). I want to say that either Puffy discovered him. It may have been Jermaine Dupri or LA Reid also.

I absolutely agree. Confessions is my favorite Madonna album after Ray of Light. I feel the same way about Hard Candy that you do. The only other song I like besides Miles Away is the the Devil Wouldn't Recognize You.
I'm the biggest Madonna fan in the world and I think all of her albums have merit, but I really can't defend Hard Candy. It was so disappointing.

Yes, I fucking hate Hard Candy, and I'm a big Madonna fan. It's an embarrassment of an album- easily the worst of her career in my book!

Hard Candy is trash

Usher's album is solid. Not his best work but at least it had a point.

What's that? Having sex with chicks, having sex with chicks in clubs, having sex with chicks at home, cheating on chicks by having sex with other chicks, being cheated on by a chick who's having sex with someone else.... on and on and around in circles we go. lol

I have Usher's album and I am a big Usher fan and I think it's crap.

Everyone put out crap in 2008.

Co-sign! highfive

OTOH, I love Hard Candy. It's catchy, fun, and consistently good throughout; "solid" would be the word I'd use to describe it. It's in my top 5 or 6 Madonna albums.

Ray of light is overrated and dated. Trash like Bedtime stories and like a virgin.

I thought that I was the only one that didn't care for that album. A little to "Truck Turner" for my taste.
