Loved this then, but aside from being played non-stop in real time it's since been hashed to death by nostalgia radio. I can't even bear the thought of listening to it now... "We've never been able to pull off a funk number"

She had a song earlier back in 1978 called "It's A Heartache" that had kind of a country flavor to it. In that song, she sounded like she was hoarse. Wait a minute.....or is that one by Bonnie Tyler (remember "Total Eclipse Of The Heart)?
She has one of those voices like Tina Turner and Rod Stewart. I actually like their voices but you ain't lying about what they sound like.
