Michael Jackson wants Pamela Anderson to be in his new video... Pamela Anderson has explained why she's been hanging out with fellow plastic surgery casualty Michael Jackson lately.
When quizzed by Ellen Degeneres about their alleged meetings, the busty babe insisted their ominous dates were just a casual chat about appearing in one of his videos. She said, "He just wants me to be in a video." Ellen pressed the matter further asking again, "So seriously, have you been hanging out with him?" To which Pammy replied mysteriously, "It happens...skin cancer and Vicodin. I don't know...I have a lot of interesting friends." Although the pair are not an item, Hollywood’s most famous fake breasts may soon be guest-starring in a Wacko production – which is weird enough in itself.

Here we go again Michael using celebrities in his music videos.I heard that he paid Marlon Brando a million bucks to appear (briefly) in the "You Rock My World" video. This is kinda played out and pointless, especially since the music channels don't even show music videos anymore...lol...come on Mike,it's time to try a different approach!

I guess he's gonna pay her a million bucks to do a 30-second cameo

MJ will spend millions of $ for a video, pardon, "short movie" to tell a "story"... it's not 1983 anymore. I thought last night aout that. MJ will have problems with the new status quo of MTV. Noone's gonna sit and watch a video that lasts longer than 4 Minutes... and exepnsive videos don't make money anymore.

Besides Kanye used Pammie. Not that she can't appear in more vids, maybe it's a video for animals or something. That Marlon Brando cameo was pointless. I hope he's not thinking of a big spectacle video. 10 minutes long, $100 million dollars, never-used before FX, special remix version of the song... blah blah blah. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

I think we're all getting a little ahead of ourselves here. He doesn't even have an album, what hope is there of a video (with or without Pammy)?

Of course, that's the other legitimate question. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

One of Michael's biggest problems is that he thinks we're still in the 80s.Videos are actually obsolete these days. There's no need to spend a fortune on a big-budget video that won't even get shown very much.

What makes you think people would be willing to put aside their apprehension and fear and distrust of Michael Jackson to even give him the chance to forge a comeback for the music video format, assuming he could actually do it? No,I don't even think that Michael could pull this off Remember his "You Rock My World" video in 2001? It was yet another big, lengthy "mini-movie" with lots of gangsters and dancing but nobody really cared. It didn't really make much of an impact. Not because it wasn't good,it's just that things are different now.Videos used to be pop music events but those days are long gone.

YRMW was a late thing though that was seriously rushed. Remember that whole thing with Sony leaking it to force it as the first single which MJ had plans for Unbreakable (although ultimately I think YRMW is the better song). As for Marlon Brando, that was a silly fee but he was helping out a friend who needed money.
But yeah, lavish expensive videos aren't impressive any more. That Justin Timberlake What Goes Around and Usher's Caught Up were so snoozeworthy.

Just because everyone else is making lame-ass shitty videos which look like they could be directed in my living room it doesn't mean MJ should do the same.
He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. If he came back with some half-ass cheap video you'd all be slagging him off for that. If he comes back with something big budget you'll be accusing him of being stuck in a time warp. Michael Jackson will do what Michael Jackson will do. And you know it's STILL going to be better than any of his contemporaries.

He´s the only one we can hope for. [Edited 9/12/08 3:22am] "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

YRMW failed because he'd already done a video like that before and it's called Smooth Criminal. Plus, people were still getting used to his face and weren't more molestation stories coming out then...? If he comes up with a new, fresh idea and amazing dance moves then he can call it a comeback. On another forum I'm joined to, I put one small picture of MJ doing the Smooth Criminal lean and you wouldn't believe the amount of private messages I got saying things like "I miss his videos!" "Your avatar makes me want MJ back!" "I love him!". If you ask me, because pop has been SO bland this year, if there was ever a time for a comeback it'd be either end of the year or early next year. You could also put it this way : standards are so low now, MJ could easily come back with a semi interesting video. [Edited 9/12/08 3:28am]

I do think it's been long enough now. He made the right decision by completely bowing out of the public eye and he's probably had a chance to actually mature as a person due to no touring, promo etc just time with his kids. At the end of the day, he was found innocent and I'm sorry but you can't argue with that. Whatever happened to the books those jury members were writing?

Apparently John Landis was in London recently and said that he's been working on something "very special" with Michael for a few months.
Sounds like a big budget video to me. No mention of Pammie, tho'.

I don't think that by "bringing the video back" it was necessarily meant that he should be doing those little mini movies of his. If he could just do creative, well executed, visually interesting videos (like he did in the nineties), it would remind people how much fun a great music video can be. Anyway, it's not like there was ever an 'era' for mini movies. Mike has always been the only one doing them.

Glitzy, expensive videos with celebrity guest stars
An album produced by the likes of Ne-Yo and Akon Michael's best bet for a comeback would be a stripped-down,acoustic performance and CD.He could follow it up with a tour.

Madonna's previous three albums ('Music','American Life' and 'Confessions...') didn't have any "hot" producers or guest stars. She doesn't do the "commerical" thing on every album. You'll have to find another way to attack her, lol.
