hey man, hope all is well!
Listen, working on my mix, I have stumbled on a problem and Supa suggested me to address you about it for help! 8tracks won't let me upload MP4-files..... All the music I have loaded from CD's are MP4-files, this way I can use iTunes.....I am pretty much a computer illiterate and I really do not know how to convert to MP3..... Can you help?? My mix is far from finished yet, I do want to make sure to be on time! Please let me know if you have a suggestion to solve this.... Cheers & thanks, Aksel | |

Aksel! You figured it out? Way to go! I wouldn't have known how to solve your mp4/mp3 issue. Only thing I could have advised is using the same site NDRU used with his Badlydrawnboy mix: anywhere.fm. They might be more 'up-to-date' with these kinds of things. But if you made it work already, you win regardless! | |

What I did was burn a disc of my ten songs (which I had already done so I could listen in the car) and then re-import the songs from the disc into iTunes, but with the preferences under importing changed to mp3 instead of mp4. | |

is it just me or does 8tracks fuck up the order of the songs randomly??
I've uploaded my mix, let it play a couple of times.....after that the order is lost and 8tracks plays the songs randomly. This pisses me off! | |

I don't know.....or maybe it's only after I've played the mix in full once.... We'll aee. It is just that I have written my text about the songs in the specific order I put them in the mix. In the end it doesn't matter that much as they are just songs that can be heard 'stand-alone'.....there is not really a connection between them like in some of the other mixes.
