David Bowie duel: John, I'm Only Dancing VERSUS John, I'm Only Dancing (Again)

It's not very common for an artist, almost godlike, like Bowie to redo a song (Okay so he redid some some songs like Panic in Detroit with that weird vocoder part shit on the Scary Monster era...but I forgive him cuz he's bowie!)

I love John, I'm Only Dancing (Again) more!

It's really funky!

Anxiety

i like both. of the original, i like the version with the punched-up sax (yes, there are multiple versions of the original version nuts ).

i like the disco version too, but i really think of it as a sequel or a different creature from the first version altogether.

i think of it more in that way that "ashes to ashes" can be seen as a sequel to "space oddity".

it's not like that 2004 remake of "rebel rebel" that really shouldn't have happened. disbelief
