And their new concert opener from their recently completed tour is quickly becoming a fan favorite on the level of "Plainsong" and "Disintegration".

Originally they were planning a double album. Bob decided to cut it down to a really tight single disc of all the upbeat, classic pop Cure stuff. They're aiming to put out a 2nd album of "epic, dark and freakish stuff" in time for the holidays. I like this idea.

If these 2 songs are any indication, they have some really good albums in the wings. Bring it on!

I didn't know they had decided against a double album.
Any word on when the cd will be released?

I use to love the cure, and still do, but as of late everything that has that same lush full sound that they did best with Disingration.
