When I hear songs like this,it makes me wish that Madonna would record more ballads.Many of her ballads have a haunting sadness to them.

For me, Vadge has set a high standards for great pop ballads ('Crazy For You,' 'Love Tried to Welcome Me,' 'Rain,' etc) that this one is sub par. It feels rushed together, and just like a re-hash of the far superior 'Power of Goodbye.' Sort of like 'Die Another Day' is a redo of the far better 'Music.' And she can't quite hit that high note on the chorus - it's a little painful to hear.

That said, I like it much better than Music's big ballad 'I Deserve it.'

Music is better than Ray of Light. Music is a very natural album.
