Dead or Alive - Nukleoptra album...trashy. loud and uber camp... what a nice surprise...must be my second favorite DOA album after Mad, Bad, and Dangerous to Know... Pete is disturbing...not a fan of trannies...

It's surprisingly nice. The usually sarcastic Pete Burn lyrics.

Haven't invested in a Dead Or Alive set yet but I love the big hits (probably like "Brand New Lover" better than "You Spin Me Round"....too bad they can't get over that song and stop remixing it!).
Pete did a great phone call into the Stern show and I'm hoping that they have him in the studio since they all seemed to get along great. Howard was pretty insistent that Pete went through with the surgery based on bad information. And of course, Howard and the gang have only heard "You Spin Me Round" (and have made at least one great song parody of it).

It's the most shizophrenic pop song ever. Kick-ass SAW beats with a subdued latin feel à la gipsy kings. Way before the early 90's latin pop explosion. Their last SAW produced is their best:

Their last SAW produced is their best: The Mortevicar Mix of Something In My House is so many times better than the original with the added The Exorcist dialogue.

I think I only listened to it once.
