recording sessions I wish I attended

The Aqua Boogie sessions from Parliament--I bet they were havin a stone gas honey

Exile On Main Street sessions..all in France in that mansion--drinkin, eatin partying and then goin to the basement to make some down home music

Bowies Berlin trilogy--being in Berlin in that time, smokin lookin like a posh Detroit..

Sly and The Family Stone-Stand..watchin genius
Riot Goin On--watchin him trip out

Stevie Wonder--the Songs In The Key Of Life sessions..more geius at work..especially to se him do Sir Duke

Parade sessions.

Led Zepplins Physical Graffiti...I want to se them record Trampled Underfoot especially...

In Throught The Out Door---a band reborn, refreshed

Off The Wall sessions.

Achtung Baby U2 sessions--again overseas, trying out new things with a new attitude

You play?

I'd just be happy to have gone to a concert when the LP was out. Except for those STONES sessions. FUCK THE STONES!!!

(as it turns I was there for Pfunk; Stevie & LED ZEP didn't tour the year of the release. UGH! I snubbed those Bowie tix for STATION TO STATION!)

Zep toured, but cut it short due to Robert Plant's car accident. That's why they rushed recording a workman-like album like Presence in 1976; to try and capitalize on what should have been.
This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

Thinking about it i'd love to see MJ, Bjork, Kate Bush and David Bowie at work in the studio. That would just be TOP!

1) The recording of

One Nation Under a Groove and

Knee Deep (aside from Aquabougie... I'd guess I'd need a gas mask in the studio)

When Doves Cry
(The only song on Purple Rain that he performed alone... Ijust wanted to know what he was thinking)

The Walk
(real comedy going on here)

Madhouse/Flesh/Sign O'The Times/ Lovesexy - I want to see this period as a whole..

That Girl
(Stevie)

The Payback ["I'm a man! I'm the son of a man!]
(Although James Brown recorded his vocals alone.. The background vocals were a late addition..)

She's Strange

Candy

(Cameo)

Tried many flavours - but sooner or later, always go back to the Purple Kool-aid!
