The lovely Chante Moore

I love Chante Moore. She is simply beautiful and she sounds like an angel when she sings. Her first two albums 'Precious'(1992) and 'A Love Supreme'(1994) are sexy, intoxicating affairs that were overlooked by the general public. She's back in the spotlight, singing on Kenny G's new hit single "One More Time" and also touring with him.Hopefully, she will find the success and acclaim that she truly deserves.

Btw,Prince is crazy about her too.In his song "Ripopgodazippa",he mentions her 'Precious' album, and he has her singing background vocals on his remake of "La La Means I Love You".No doubt,he probably thinks she's sexy as hell too.

No you're not DavidEye. I love Chante Moore too! You are
absolutely positively correct when you say that she is
beautiful and gorgeous.

I love the video for her song "Bitter" where she is almost
naked smile and in a bed. Also the video for Ron Isley's "Contagious".

Her voice is of an angel and I agree she is underrated as a singer.Though her fans know how good she really is.nod

...she's married to Kenny Latimore, another singer. Funny this post should come up, I've had the "Precious" CD in my player for a few weeks now. 'Love's Taken Over' is my jam!! Love that song!

U too! lol She's absolutely gorgeous.
Side A of "Precious" equates 2 some surious relations goings on. wink Might as well unplug the phone(s) and post a "Knock & Die" sign on the door before even throwing it on.
She's got a track on Love Supreme that i thoroughly adore ... Perfect One*, i believe it's called. Something about "his hands, his eyes, etc." Basically an ode 2 every thing she loves about her man, right down to the way he talks 2 her. She broke it down - all the ways she LOVEs her man - versus every other song about somebody getting done wrong. Very romantic.
Didn't get the last one. Something about the collaborations put me off; but, more than likely i'll end up purchasing it if only because i ADORE Chante Moore!
ONE LOVE

* Just revisited this song.
It's actually about her longing 4 the "perfect one"...but if U believe in soul mates, the "perfect one" is subconsciously her man, she's just gotta meet up with him. wink
"even when i'm wrong i'm right." eek

She is a Babe no doubt.I dug Her First Two Albums when She was Associated with Louis Silas at Silas Records.also dug Her Stuff with EL Debarge on the song"You Know what I like" From His "In The Storm" Album.but Her last couple of Albums seem like Factory Product IMHO&She has turned into a trick. Her&Kenny Latimore are about as Real as J-Lo&Ben Aflack. She had something rolling with her First Couple of Albums but the Material for Me has fallen way off.Good Voice but things have fallen apart.and I heard Her&Latimore are doing a Duet Album of Covers or something along those lines. She&Tyler Collins kinda looked alike too Me.that would make a Dream Come True getting with those two at once.oh well having a Outer Body Expereince.

Yeah,I agree with you.Her first two albums were excellent, and Chante wrote most of the lyrics herself. But for her third album,Jam and Lewis took control and they gave her by-the-numbers songs to sing ("Chante's Got A Man").Her last CD 'Exposed'(2000) found her jumping on the hip-hop/R&B bandwagon.Hopefully, her next album will be a more soulful and heartfelt project.

Chante's A Love Supreme was one of the best R&B albums of 1994 IMO. Debut album wasn't bad either.

Are you referring to the 1992 song "Candlelight And You" with Keith Washington ? Or her 1991 duet with El DeBarge "You Know What I Like"? She also recorded a recent duet with her new husband Kenny Lattimore,I think it appears on his album.

She's cool peeps and fine as hell too but her voice is "not the type in my bag". However, I dig some of her songs like the one in the Waiting 2 Exhale OST.

I met her in Chi-Town's airport(Same airport where I met Rosie Gains) and both of 'em are lovely and down 2 earth soul sistas.

Much love
