Songs in the Key of Life #1 Album of All Time? Yahoo creates Top 20 Albums of all time list and puts Stevie Wonder's masterpiece "Songs in the Key of Life" at #1.

I won't go into it but take a look and tell me what you think. I don't necessarily agree with "Key of Life" being #1 but it definitely belongs on the top ten list. "Thriller" would probably be my #1. But hey, I am just glad it wasn't The "Dung" Beatles.....excuse me The Beatles. | |

This formula takes the biasness out and I was happy to see my #1 come out #1 via a diff approach.
He has a scientific approach and he documents it's not based on his favorites These lists are good since they all spark good discussion. Music is the best... | |

I would have to agree with "Songs In Key Of Life". That's an album that other artist compare theirs to. As for "Thriller", I guess it has to do with the ages of those who like it. I cannot stand it, too commercial for my taste. My favorite from MJ is "Off The Wall" "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth" |

It's been in my top 5 favorites since it came out! Which is basically my whole life. Abbey Road too, and that's pretty high on the list. Thriller has completely fallen off for me, though certain cuts still resonate. My Legacy

You know what makes SITKOL sizzle for me? The four-song "EP" of sorts that came after "the end" (Another Star). You have your intergalactic pop ("Saturn"), some old-school blues ("Ebony Eyes"), funk-rock ("All Day Sucka") and some mellow instrumental jazz ("Easy Goin' Evening (My Mama's Call)"). It completes the album IMHO. | |

Yeah it is commercialized but it's still Stevie Wonder, that's the bottom line.   He knew what he was doing too ($13 million contract to do the album and it sold 10 million? He's a great businessman too, lol.) | |
