Lettuce @ The Key Club

I'm too tired from dancing to write very much.
Just go to either www.lettucefunk.com or www.myspace.com/lettucefunk and check out Sam Huff’s Flying Rage Machine and you'll understand why.

They really got me when they kicked into We're A Winner which segued into Move On Up.

Just a great group of musicians that know how to groove hard.
2 members of Soulive are in the band.
(Eric Krasno - guitar & Neal Evans - keys)

And to show how Old School faithful these guys are, their latest release...

...RAGE! is also available on LP!

Don't miss 'em if they come to your town.

Or the East Coast.
(I'll also add Japan thanks to their Soulive connection)

I'm pretty sure you'd like the new album.

Not even a question. I'm usually skeptical of people attempting Curtis Mayfield but damn, these guys (and their guest singers) have got it going on. I need more time with this to take it all in but from the first couple of listens, oh yeah!

I forgot to get back to you on these guys. I like what I hear. music This is the kinda music that flourishes live. Good to hear in the house, but I'm sure it's even better in a venue. I like their take on the Mayfield tune.

Hey tA,

Thanks for this thread. I checked out their myspace and I'm feeling "Blast Off" and "Outta Here." I like it.
