WEll I would have to say Lisa Lisa. Although its kinna liek comparing apples to oranges...but whatevs.

I would have to go with Lisa Lisa and the cult jam.. Head to toe was one of my favorite songs when I was a kid

Several years ago,I recall an interview where Lisa was complaining that she hasn't "gotten her due".She felt that she should have been as big as,say,Gloria Estefan.I agree but I also think she gave up too soon.Her solo album came out in 1994,it bombed,and she never made another record.In the music biz,perseverence is the key.
