It is a beautiful album and I cannot stop playing "All Alright" and "Festival"- perfect time of the year to release it too.
Going to see them in November- that should be a fantastic gig as I hear they are tremendous live.

Damn- that's not good- hopefully they'll return. A friend saw them at Latitude Festival last weekend and said that they blew the audience away! He said it was like angels had landed and brought music with them!?! He was probably on drugs and was watching a crisp packet blowing in the wind or something!

Anxiety

i'm seeing them this fall in Mpls, and it'll be my first time experiencing one of their shows. i'm more excited about seeing them live than i am about their album. it's fine and i like it, but i kinda feel like every sigur ros album is the same. beautiful and epic and very emotional - but you could play me a random song from any of their albums and with maybe 3 or 4 exceptions, i couldn't tell you which album it was from. redface

which isn't necessarily a bad thing. it's just that i feel the only "discovery" left with me and that band is the live experience.

though i will say i am happy that they have finally released a happy, up tempo song. they should do that again. nod
