sweet dreams, The Eurythmics

I just love this song, its running thru mu Ipod as I type, does nayone else luv it and have good memories of it like me. It has a cold industrial yet funky feel to it and I remember the video. I was 7 and trying to guess if Annie Lennox was a man or a woman or a transvestite.
Anyone else have love for this song or the Eurythmics (apparently Annie was a big Prince fan)

Everything about that song and video was great. I loved it when it came out, Annie looked like a beautiful, powerful alien, and her voice was and still is amazing. Best '80s pop group ??

Definetly, just for Sweet dreams, missionary man and I need a man alone, the absolute best the 80s could offer and yes Annie was a really powerful image.

Both albums released by The Eurythmics in 1983 are fucking amazing.

Even though I like Touch a little better because of sweet memories, the album that spawned this song is also in my top three of best Eurythmics albums EVER.

This may be the greatest single ever released. The entire album is infused with a sense of providential intervention, and I'm not kidding. Excerpts from Annie Lennox's biography describe how a lot of the songs almost happened by accident, this song included.
Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

I think the computer that Dave is using in the video is actually a synthesizer.

My city has a synth museum. When I went on a tour I saw a computer synth just like that one, and the in-house synth repair man was repairing it for Richard D James.
