Where Do You??????? hi,
where is your favorite place to download music? (legal) i'm looking for some good sites, and rare artists. thanks!  | |

i just found a bunch of fun free mp3s at stereogum.com - it's kind of an alternative/pop music news site like pitchfork, and they offer free mp3s occasionally. i downloaded a santogold song and a new beck b-side from stereogum this morning - totally free and legal. they also compiled a bjork tribute collection and a radiohead "OK Computer" tribute collection, both of which are free mp3 downloads.
i don't know if any of that is up your alley or not, but hey - it's free

The only place I ever use is iTunes, and that's pretty rare. I prefer to own my music in some kind of physical form, but I've heard that stereogum (anx's suggestion) is quite a good place! 7digital is another one I've heard of, but have never investigated. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you! | |
