Innervisions Vs Songs in the key of life

Its like Purple Rain Vs Sign O the Times.

What would you chose? And you can't pick Talking Book. No cop outs.

I go Innervisions.....the sum is greater than the parts.

Much as I like both--I've got to say Innervisions.

If I had to pick one I would have to go with Songs, there would be no SOTT if it were not for albums like this

Innervisions.

Not only because I like it better but it's closer chronologically to TALKING BOOK!

Carry on...whistling

Innervisions. Much as SITKOL is Stevie's masterpeice - personally for me, i find the production and arrangements too ellaborate and "perfect" in a sense. As much as I dont wanna turn this into a Stevie love in - I have to say I find Fulfillingness... as rewarding as Innervisions & Talking Book.

This is true about about "Visions", but even though "Songs" is not as consistant, it deals with the events in one's life, and life my friend....is NOT consistant. Just like the album has ups and downs....so does life. I have always said that SITKOL, should be taugh in a music appreciation class. It is timeless and raw....just like life.

Since you didn't rule it out, I'd pick Fulfillingness' First Finale. nod

Those three are clearly the best IMO. To answer the question... hmm, it really depends on my mood; today I'll pick SITKOL.

Innervisions. Key has some of his best songs but for my taste too many "fillers".
