There hasnt been a day where i havent played this record, it flows, its well written, well played with his band which includes Coldplays Guy Berryman.

On this record Magne takes it a step further than his first "vocal" solo record in 2004 "past perfect future tense". Magne continues his use of playing with words, its beyond poetry, its more like observations that everyone can see. The title track is a pure POP masterpiece when POP was a different animal. Also pushed to the forefront is Magne's piano and keyboard playing, and pure arrangements. Whether its something simple like "Watch this space" or a more complex song like "Come Back" which is easily the best song i have heard from anyone in a REAL long time. In the liner notes of this record its written, this album is produced by the people that played on it, which is something all records should say.

The irony of this record is that this was on COLDPLAYS playlist given to MTV for a recent coldplay interview on MTV, however MTV removed him and his band a-Ha from the playlist and replaced them with DUFFY and Leona Lewis, two artists that Coldplay, i doubt, listen too or at least are influenced by, mtv's reason, "they arent in our format".

Back in January Magne gave this record away free (well 6 tracks of the 9) on his Myspace for about 3 weeks and also sold a ltd edition of 300 copies of a Cd/Vinyl painting set which is truly a collectors item, they all sold day one for about 120 dollars each, all were different artwork and all were personally addressed from Magne to the person buying it, all artwork done by Magne too.

So if you thinking "i need a new record" go seek this one out!
