Mick Jagger is the lead singer of the rolling stones who sings with Michael J on state of shock. The late Freddie Mercury is the lead singer of Queen who's singing Another One bites the dust here. Don't laugh at my funk

***Isn't it kinda silly for Michael to record three songs with another artist....for an album with his brothers?! Victory has NEVER seen the light of day, we all know what happened to "State"...and "There must be more to life..."ended up on I think, a Queen or a Freddie solo project. I have the duet version, it is interesting. "Victory", which was supposed to be the title track, sounds strange.One last thing, it was Michael that convinced Freddie to release, "Another one bites the dust". Freddie thought that it too commercial and "poppy". Michael thought that it would be an instant hit and that it would expose the band to a new set of fans. Queen could get down too. John Deacon was friends with Nile Rodgers and was in the studio with Chic (when they laid down the tracks for "Good Times"). I'm sure that inspired him to write "A.B.T.D".
"Hot Space" is hip too. My fave off "The Game" is "Dragon Attack". Hard hitting but funky too. | |
