However, I would hope for their sake and the sake of their loved ones they would throw it into something that actually retains value through the years. I can't see his laptop providing enough equity to help granny have a place to live or help his future kids pay for college. Oh, please don't make me laugh! Most teen stars don't even know how to save money let alone donate it to charity alone. We live in a very twisted world nowadays. I know sometimes people want to have a shopping spree every once in a while and have fun, but don't let your ego go wild and put genuine karat gold on the surface of a laptop.
