Metallica going back to old style. Hell yea bitches!! 
Rick Rubin is producing the new Metallica album, that has not title as of yet, but the album will probably have the signature speedmetal sound Metallica used to be famous for
I love this Rick Rubin quote to the band: "pretend that you are a new band and that you are coming up with material to beat someone in a battle of the bands contest."

Thing is, there´s no real competition for Prince. The hardrock thing has never really been his thing except for a couple of tracks like Bambi or I´m Yours, and the pop music of today is not as challenging and hot as it was in the mid 80s, and RnB died in the mid90s.He was at his best when there were lots of competitors in every genre in the early 80s. These days, he´s too much into 70s nostalgia, not even his OWN nostalgia but more into reminding folks about his childhood heroes.
But I think Metallica, under the guidance of Rick Rubin, can make a solid album again. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?" | |

The new Metallica album is supposed to be out in September/October of this year.
Reviews of the album's first rough mixes (minus four songs) seemed to be good to great so far. "Always blessings, never losses......"
