nod This song is one of my favorites,I wonder why it doesn't get more love. This single came and went in 1981 and the album wasn't one of their biggest sellers.

When Prince heard this song on the radio in spring 1983,he wasn't too happy. He thought it was a Jam and Lewis production lol This was in the days when Prince didn't want his "employees" working outside his camp.Jimmy and Terry had to convince him that they had nothing to do with the song, lol.

lol I can only imagine...Jam and Lewis just casually talking when they all of sudden hear fast heels approaching. Prince walks in and gives them the EYES....

Prince: and what the hell ya'll just came from?
Jam & Lewis: what the fuck you talkin' bout?
Prince: I know where ya'll been (and throws the tape on the table)
Jam & Lewis: the whispers? man we ain't done shit with them...
Prince: (rolls his eyes and makes a click noise with his teeth) liars...i'm going to make me some pancakes.

I still have the 12"(45) version. Got crates full of those old late 70s-early 80s dance jams.
