Hard to say..of course it's all subjective. There are different types of "funk" as well. More Bounce To The Ounce?...Flashlight? The Payback? The list is as long as forever. Many qualify...Like I said, one man's ceiling is another cat's floor. It's all subjective.

I do see the irony, SOS. And yes, the Conchords rule (Tenacious D better watch their ass). But I think the true funk afficionados here in the music forum would prefer to actually pick a serious funk song. The greatest. And nothing beats Fela. wink
