Hard to say..of course it's all subjective. There are different types of "funk" as well. More Bounce To The Ounce?...Flashlight? The Payback? The list is as long as forever. I do see the irony, SOS. And yes, the Conchords rule (Tenacious D better watch their ass). But I think the true funk afficionados here in the music forum would prefer to actually pick a serious funk song. The greatest. And nothing beats Fela.
