I kinda felt sad for Mr.Maurice White after this film,,,,he been through a HELL of a pressure, I don't blame him for quitting the music biz all-toghether.

The only complaint about this film I guess, was how brief Charles Stepney's part was(5 minutes?) he was the pulse of their music and as much as I hate to say it, it wasn't the same for them after his death.

A few years ago,Maurice mentioned that he was working on a huge,coffee-table book containing rare EW&F photographs.I wonder if this will ever materialize?

I have to disagree hugely. Although stepney's death was unfortunate and
untimely, it allowed maurice to show what he had been learning under
stepney and show his production skills. Maurice took the band to greater
heights than under stepney.

Love the version of "I Wanna Be Loved" with Eric Benet and Philip Bailey too. Much better than Eric's released solo version on "Hurricane".
