Oh well...at least "Miles Away" came in third, which means that most of you like it I'm not surprised that "Beat Goes On" is Number One.That song seems to be a fan favorite,on this site and the various Madonna forums that I visit.

Whoa, I was sure "She's Not Me" would be the winner out of the two!
Great winner anyway, but still disappointed to see almost all Timbaland tracks being in the bottom half.

If I had my druthers, it would have gone like this:
Good songs (note, not great): 1. Give It 2 Me 2. She's Not Me 3. Beat Goes On 4. Heartbeat OK songs: 5. Devil Wouldn't Recognize You 6. Voices Lame songs: 7. Miles Away 8. Dane 2Night 9. Incredible Horrific songs: 10. 4 Minutes 11. Candy Shop 12. Spanish Lesson I'd rank every song on Confessions on a Dancefloor above at least "Voices". Hard Candy is the most disappointing album of Madonna's career, for me! [Edited 5/24/08 20:29pm] Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! My own personal rankings
1. Dance Tonight 2. Beat Goes On 3. Spanish Lesson (IMHO, the triumvirate that defines the album: "silly" songs but musically delectable in the grand Madonna 80s Queen of Pop tradition) 4. Candy Shop 5. 4 Minutes 6. Devil Wouldn't Recognize You 7. Give It To Me 8. Miles Away 9. Heartbeat 10. Incredible 11. She's Not Me 12. Voices

I like Beat Goes on really though it's not my personal fave.
i still listen to HC every day. not the WHOLE day but once in the day... there are still songs i've got yet to discover. She's Not Me... is great but i never gave it much attention. but i will. Voices and Devil. Especially Madonna fans sem to adore Devil. I always go for faster songs that for ballads but Devil doesn't do it for me. I just don't have a connection with it. When I think of good Madonna ballads I think of Live To Tell, You'll See, This Used To Be My Playground... but Devil has so many sounds that just distract from the fact that's it's a ballad. I read it has the highest bpm number

Here's how I hear it right now:
1. She's Not Me 2. Miles Away 3. Devil Wouldn't Recognize You 4. Beat Goes On 5. Dance 2nite 6. 4 Minutes 7. Heartbeat 8. Voices 9. Candy Shop 10. Incredible 11. Give It 2 Me 12. Spanish Lesson I don't really have a problem with any of them -- even "Spanish Lesson" has grown on me. I still think "Ring My Bell" should've replaced it. The strongest part of the album is the 4-song sequence beginning with "She's Not Me" and ending with "Dance Tonight".That's four great dance tracks in a row.I often drive around town listening to that sequence of songs

"Miles Away" is still my favorite song but lately I've been really enjoying "Give It To Me".That song is so much fun!! It's fast and vibrant and I like to hear it early in the morning. If this song doesn't perk you up,nothing will, lol. "Get stupid, get stupid, get stupid, don't stop (what?)" I still hope that we get to hear the five Timbaland tracks that didn't make the album. One is called "Across The Sky" and another is called "La La".

I like your Top Three but I don't listen to the album. I can see deleting half the album that I don't really like. I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

That surprises me. I'm still digging it. I haven't bought the CD either. I have listened the entire album to death in my iPod, but I won't buy the "physical" album as long as it has the original price
