ATTN, Vanessa Daou fans: V premiers new material on her website! 
Vanessa Daou has uploaded demos, lyrics and a wealth of interactive graphic art on her official website (http://www.vanessadaou.co...ening.html) to herald her upcoming Joe Sent Me album. It seems the release, her first album of all-new material in 7 years, also will be a multimedia project. It will be available for order via the site in July! Thank you for this. I've been thinking about her lately, wondering what she's been up to and if she had anything new coming out. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off | |

She and Peter split -- at least professionally. He's Hillary Clinton's chief online campaign advisor!  Without him, her sound is a bit more sparse -- less singing and more spoken word; less "trip hop" and more smoky jazz club feel -- but it's still fairly interesting. Maybe he's too focused on his political duties to go music. Interesting. So far I love anything she does so I'll take it all. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off | |
