Michael Jackson To Perform On American Idol Finale?

Ugh! I know another Michael Jackson thread, but it was probably going to pop up. Here's what Paula Abdul says:

According to Idol’s Nigel Lythgoe, the biggest star in the world will be performing at the Idol finale and Abdul gives "Extra" a hint! "I think it’s MJ," Abduls reveals. When asked if she really believes Michael Jackson is performing, Abdul responds, "Yeah, I have a sneaking suspicion."

Your thoughts? I know he was rumored many times, and they all turned out to be false. Who else could it be that is a huge celebrity. Only person I'm thinking it actually is, is Madonna. She has her new album out, and she is a "Mega Star" as well. So that's my prediction. I just don't seeing Michael Jackson doing this, just out of nowhere with nothing new to promote. And Paula Abdul is crazy anyway.

As long as Archuletta is under age, no way they would have MJ on.

They can't have their winner crowned all hopped up on Jesus Juice and a gloved finger in his ass.
Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.

I doubt it.

Then who is?

When you go with "How many people know MJ?", then he's up in the Top 3 of the world with the US president and the Pope.

It´s true that as far as fame is concerned, MJ wins. I´ve never met anyone who didn´t know who Michael jackson was. But I´ve met many people who´ve never heard of Prince or George Michael. Today´s teenagers have no idea who George Michael is. I did a song with them in a English classroom - Last Christmas - and while everybody knew the song, nobody knew who George Michael is or what he looks like, but I did Thriller and most of them knew it was MJ and everybody knew who MJ was.

I guess Michael is still a star. George may not the biggest star in the world but any young aspiring singer, especially male, should know who he is.

Anyway, the whole 'biggest star in the world' clue is silly and just flattery to whoever is scheduled to appear.
