But I did enjoy John Taylor's bass playing on A View to a Kill. (  If there was only an instrumental version ) 
JT stays in the pocket. He's a very nimble, subtle player. He's a student of

Duran Duran was never my favorite, though I liked some of their songs.
But there's no comparison to the later teen idol groups. These guys wrote & played their own stuff. John & Andy Taylor were good enough to act the part of session guys with Robert Palmer & Tony Thompson. My Legacy
