Madonna at Superbowl

I think Madonna should be next years choice for the performer at The Superbowl. It'll give her a chance to show her new material andshe's the only 80s superstar to not have done The Superbowl

She can even perform it with Justin. But unlike the last time I hope the last lines he mutters don't become true(naked). "We only got 4 minutes to save the word!!", then an atomic bomb goes off.

Prince doesn't have a really new album out. Michael will he'd be the next best option. Janet I'm pretty sure is out.

They wanted Madonna to perform at the Super Bowl in 1999 and she agreed. She even started rehearsing the song "Ray Of Light" but in the end,she backed out.

Wow I don't recall hearing about that at all!

When I clicked on the thread, I thought it was a news thread. Like, I wouldn't be surprised at ALL if they chose her to do the Superbowl. She's got a new hit album and plenty of old hits.

I can't imagine Justin Timberlake on the Superbowl again, but of course he would have to be if she did "4 Minutes". Maybe he can rip off Madonna's entire upper layer of clothing to top Janet. evillol

Thanks to Janet and Justin,I doubt that they would ask Madonna to do it.They wanna stay away from "controversial" artists who might get them in trouble again. From now on,they'll only use "safe" artists like Eric Clapton and Paul McCartney, lol.

I don't really see Madonna as controversial anymore though.

She might throw up a middle finger and cuss here and there.

I don't think she would bring something like the "Live To Tell" mirror crucifix to the Superbowl either.

I think it was 2000, actually. I remember that it was around the time that American Pie was about to be released.

and think about how you're treating me now.
Then try to reconcile them, if you can.
But you don't even remember, do you?"

With the amount of $$ that the company would dish out 2 her, I'm sure she wouldn't screw it up. Besides, after "nipple-gate" I think it's safe to say that they take all types of precautions for a half-time show now.

If we take out Justin who's gonna sing it.....Lenny Kravitz?

And I don't get the whole nipple-gate thing. She said it was unintentional and nobody would have notived if conservative christians hadn't said anything.

The knee-jerk reaction is no way in HELL would this happen. Ironically, if it was announced that Janet was performing again, it would create a lot of hype and result in a very tame performance.

I just don't think they want to offer her a platform again to "make it right".
