So if it sounds like a child singing to your ears, it could be very much possible that she still utilizes some of the same singing techniques and mannerisms she used to do as a younger girl. If you've started singing at an earlier age it's harder to change the overall handling of your voice, and something of the past as a child / teenaged "professional vocalist" sometimes seeps through. Also, I find this same phenomenon to be more common with non-English speakers than with Americans / Brits / etc. for some odd reason. | |
