Have both of their albums. They can groove no doubt but Dave 1's vocals can wear on you after a while. I'd like to see them work with a quality singer. I think they would be at their best as producers.

One of my favorite bands of the decade! She's in Control was a nice warmup, but Fancy Footwork just takes it to the next level. Fantastic stuff.

Their first album is kinda like DAft Punk's first album...little substance but bangin grooves. They stepped their game up on Fancy Footwork though

Good analogy! I do think "Needy Girl" may be their best song, though.

It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Actually, I've been listening to them for the last couple of days on repeat. Didn't like them too much at first, as I thought it was too much on the Daft Punk -side of things, but it's opened up now to me. My favourite band of the week I guess. The guys are vintage synth enthusiasts as well, so I can really connect with some of the sounds they're employing (Fuck, they use even a Sequential Circuits Max! That's a synth that was meant to be used with a Commodore 64, I can't bring to words how beautiful a concept that is!) Plus, they're seriously funny.

"Look, this game is no surprise / what you need is an older guy."

or

"Boy you got it / so wrong / When you look into her eyes all you see is your Mom"

falloff

Oh you can really tell the other one studies French literature.

Romeoblu

She's in Control And Fancy Footwork would both be in my top 50 albums of this decade with Fancy Footwork making the top 10.

I would say if your looking for something similar from this decade you might like 33Hz, Felix Da Housecat, Les Rythmes Digitales, Neon Neon, Har Mar Superstar, Sam Sparro and Unkle Jam.
