Kajagoogoo - "Hang On Now" From the 1982 album White Feathers, which also yielded the classic hit Too Shy. Though this one didn't chart nearly as high as the bigger hit from that set (#78 versus #5), I think it's a great pop song.

I love this song! Kajagoogoo was great. And this synths in this song is bliss. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

Yeah, it's a goodie. I'd forgotten all about it. I bought this album a few years ago but hadn't listened to it in a while. I had to pull it off the shelf after coming across this video by accident.

Kool tune, Definitely one of their best! I included That video in my Kajagoogoo/ Nick Beggs thread, a few weeks back: http://prince.org/msg/8/267224 ... " I've got six things on my mind --you're no longer one of them." - Paddy McAloon, Prefab Sprout

Shoot, I'm glad you brought'em up again....that is a Kool song...I think it's unfortunate that they got that "One hit wonder" albatross thrown on 'em...as their second album showed, they were really gifted...unfortunately most folks we'rent listening by then, .... ...
