Off the wall. Do not understand the hype at all. Destiny and Triumph are so much better then his solo work in that era

TOTALLY! SPEAK THE TRUTH.

Don't get me wrong, I love "Off The Wall" and even "Get On The Floor" but Destiny and especially Triumph were much stronger, and especially Triumph dealt with much more interesting themes lyrically. In fact, I would argue it was a sign of things to come on Thriller. This Place Hotel (aka Heartbreak Hotel) was like the cousin of Billie Jean.

I like off the wall, but when I bought it, I already loved Destiny and Triumph that it didn't do much for me though I came to appreciate it.

I agree, off the wall is unlistenable except Rock with u, working night and day, burn this disco out and shes out of my life. Its gonna boogie on out of here

falloff That may be the funniest thing I've ever read on this site. "Off the Wall," "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough," and "I Can't Help It" unlistenable?!? lol lol lol

wink Sorry I didn't kind of mean like that, Can't stop is great but I have heard that many times and it does drag a bit. OTW is a good album, but next to the triptych that is ThrillerBadDangerous it just dosen't figure. Theres no Who is it, no another part of me, no leave me alone or no billie jean in it
